About Me
I'm a multimedia journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker drawn to stories that show how global politics shape everyday lives. I've covered migration, political transitions, and the human impact of policy shifts across Latin America and the Middle East. My work has been featured in The New Arab, Al-Jumhuriya, Modern Treatise, Amman Net, Lamorinda Weekly, and The Daily Californian.
I got my start in journalism at The Daily Californian, where I covered social issues and edited student-led investigations. Since then, I’ve worked at Radio Al-Balad in Amman, Jordan, producing bilingual stories and short-form video content for radio and social media. I’ve also taken on freelance projects, including investigative and multimedia work focused on refugees, civic unrest, and underreported communities.
I work in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese, driven by a love of exploring new places and connecting with people through their stories.
